Doctor of Medicine | Cardiology - General/Other Location: Martinsburg, WV Employer: AAS Locum Tenens Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking a full-time Non-Invasive Cardiology Physician to join an established and growing cardiovascular program in Eastern West Virginia. The physician will primarily practice non-invasive cardiology with involvement in general cardiology services and may be assigned to provide care at additional clinical sites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.There may be occasions where providers are asked to rotate through these additional sites and see patients there as part of supporting access and coverage across the region, ensuring continuity of care and comprehensive cardiovascular services.In addition to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, this role offers the option to participate in the education and training of residents, supporting the academic mission of the program. Key Responsibilities: Deliver general cardiology care in inpatient and outpatient settings Collaborate with interventional cardiologists and multidisciplinary care teams Provide clinical services at affiliated worksites across West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, as assigned Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice Requirements: MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent) from an accredited medical school Completion of an ACGME-accredited Cardiology Fellowship Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology Eligibility for medical licensure in West Virginia (and ability to obtain licensure in Maryland and Pennsylvania, as needed) Strong commitment to clinical excellence, collaboration, and patient-centered care Interest in academic medicine and resident education is preferred but not required Compensation & Benefits: Competitive academic compensation package Medical, dental, and vision insurance Retirement plan with employer contribution Paid time off and holidays CME allowance and paid CME time Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Why Join Us This is a unique opportunity to combine clinical cardiology practice with academic involvement in a multi-state regional system while enjoying the quality of life and community benefits of Eastern West Virginia.
