We are currently seeking a Network Engineer to support operations in Quantico, VA. This is a full-time position requiring an active DoD Top Secret clearance. What You’ll Do You will: Provide network engineering, administration, and cybersecurity support for multi-classification networks and infrastructure Create virtualized environments to support test events, ensure operational readiness, and troubleshoot issues during execution. Administer network systems: apply patches, harden systems, review logs. Support RMF compliance activities, including documentation and vulnerability analysis. Integrate server and virtual hosting technologies into secure network architecture. W hat You’ll Bring Required Qualifications: Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field (ABET/CAE-accredited) OR 5 years' experience in network design, infrastructure, and security Technical Hands-on experience configuring routers, switches, firewalls Experience applying STIGs, IAVA compliance, and DoD cybersecurity policies. Familiarity with RMF, network segmentation, and defense-in-depth design. Familiarity with virtualized networking infrastructure and Software Defined Networking (SDN) Preferred (Nice to have) Working knowledge of LAN/WAN architecture, VPN security, PKI, and common attack vectors. Familiarity with Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) tools and traffic analysis. Experience supporting DoD environments Certifications: Must have a current and active DoD Top Secret security clearance. Proficient with modern IT tools and infrastructure technologies Travel & Passport Some overnight stays possible. OCONUS locations include: Bullet out the locations Work Environment Office setting: Full time onsite role on USMC Base Quantico in Quantico, VA Standard desk/computer work with flexibility for walking and movement on site Must be able to work in an office environment, sitting at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday. Work is physically comfortable; the employee has discretion about sitting, walking, standing, etc. May be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.
