to grow your career. Position Overview The Director, Channel Growth
& Emerging Opportunities will help lead and support Verisign’s
focus on emerging channels. The role aims to accelerate adoption of
domain name category and drive revenue growth by establishing, long
term, high-impact relationships, with non-traditional domain name
distribution channels, hosting/ecommerce/digital service providers
targeting both resellers and selected registrars. This role is
accountable for driving new opportunities , by increasing
distribution of domain category while optimizing channel
performance and driving measurable revenue growth across Verisign’s
portfolio of domain extensions. The role reports to the VP –
Account Management for the Americas. This role currently offers a
hybrid working arrangement with at least two days in office
(currently Tuesday and Thursday), combined with the ability to
travel for critical business needs, including in-person leadership
meetings, customer engagements, and company all-hands meetings. Key
Responsibilities Channel & Growth & Emerging Opportunities Design,
recommend, and execute a strategy to identify, recruit, and scale
high value opportunities that could result in the expansion of the
of the domain name category and delivering domain base growth Serve
as a business development account executive, possibly nurturing a
segment of the traditional channel and explore additional
opportunities that could contribute to expanding and strengthening
relationships and optimizing performance Build and maintain
strategic, mutually beneficial relationships with targeted
technology providers, including, eCommerce/ Social Networks /
Linkin Bio Providers / AI website Builders / email Service
Providers / AI Dev and Prototyping Tools Providers, as well as
Hosting/Cloud providers Negotiate complex agreements that drive
measurable business impact and align with Verisign’s sales,
marketing, policy, and product priorities Recommend and participate
in the design and execution of scalable programs, incentives, and
enablement tools to strengthen customer engagement and performance
Continuously monitor and optimize the domain ecosystem for new
growth opportunities in an efficient and profitable manner Market
Development & Product Innovation Play a key role in market and
competitive intelligence efforts to help uncover and keep abreast
of new opportunities for domain sales and adjacent services Partner
with other functional groups such as Product, Strategy, and Data
Analytics, to evaluate new offerings and go-to-market models that
accelerate channel growth Translates customer and market insights
into actionable strategies that enhance Verisign’s value
proposition and competitive differentiation Help drive positioning
of commercial incentives, offers, and sales enablement strategies
to improve customer acquisition and retention Cross-Functional
Leadership & Insights Collaborates with Channel Account Management
Team, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Data Analytics, Strategy, and
Operations to ensure strategic alignment and operational excellence
Manages a pipeline and develops/delivers reporting that provides
visibility into customer performance, market trends, and growth
opportunities Present channel insights and recommendations to
inform decisions and drive continuous improvement Lead with a
data-driven mindset, balancing strategic vision with disciplined
execution to deliver measurable outcomes Qualifications 10 years of
experience in channel strategy, customer development, or business
development, preferably in technology, internet infrastructure, or
domain services Strong analytical mindset and understands how to
sell the value proposition Proven track record of building and
managing large-scale, revenue-generating partnerships Deep
understanding of domain registration markets, channel economics,
and partner ecosystems An understanding of hosting cloud service
providers and / or WordPress channel ecosystems would be preferred
Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and relationship management
skills Ability to influence C-level executives and operate
strategically while managing execution across complex initiatives
Team player The pay range is $180,700 - $244,500. The anticipated
annual base salary range for this position is noted above, however,
base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge,
skills, experience. Verisign offers a discretionary bonus which is
based on individual and company performance, and certain roles may
be eligible for discretionary stock awards. Verisign is an equal
