Job Description:

The Work: Leading a development team of 15-20 FTE’s focused on storing and managing system SSR data using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. Responsibilities include: Developing and implementing complex solutions utilizing AWS native technologies Ensuring the development team stays on schedule and is able to meet programmatic milestones Represents the team at customer meetings, TEMs and contributes to the team agile planning ceremonies Building REST services with Spring able to filter and select complex data objects Utilize Python to optimize AWS services such as Lambdas, Step Functions, EC2 and S3 Implement CI/CD principals utilizing Maven, Gitlab and GitOps Agile development and delivery of software Communication and collaboration: Software Development is a team-oriented discipline. Engineers need to be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members, as well as with stakeholders. Required Skills Java, Spring boot or python Microservice architectures CI/CD Tools: AWS tools, Maven, , Gitlab & GitOps; Kubernetes, docker, Ansible Database : NoSQL / MongoDB / DynamoDB Query and Schema Design OAuth/OIDC Implementation experience Test frameworks and automation to include Cyprus and Cucumber Previous team leadership experience is desired but not required. Knowledge of UTT or targeting is desired Education and Experience Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education 15 years of relevant experience Master’s degree plus 13 years of relevant experience. An Associate’s degree plus 17 years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 19 years of experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position. An active Top Secret clearance with polygraph with CI poly within the last 7 years Pay & Benefit Highlights Compensation Above market fixed salary or hourly pay.
