Job Description:
DART First State, a division of DelDOT, has an immediate opening
for a Deputy Chief Human Resources Officer in Wilmington, Delaware
. The Deputy Chief Human Resource Officer (DCHRO) is responsible
for directing and managing the full range of Human Resources
functions and programs for the Delaware Transit Corporation (DTC).
The DCHRO reports directly to the Chief Human Resource Officer
(CHRO) and receives overall direction, as well as guidance on the
resolution of specific issues from the CHRO. The incumbent serves
as the lead member on the CHRO’s senior management team in the
development, planning and directing of Human Resource programs. The
DCHRO is also responsible for the internal and external Civil
Rights Programs for DTC which includes Title VI Program,
Affirmative Action (AA), Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), and
the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Under the management of
these programs the DCHRO reports directly to the Chief Executive
Officer (CEO) and receives overall direction and guidance from the
CEO. The Chief Executive Officer designates the DCHRO as the EEO/AA
Officer for the Delaware Transit Corporation. DTC offers a
competitive salary range of $73,168 - $91,460 and an excellent
