Job Description Job Description Job Summary Black Lion Cafe is seeking a reliable and skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality food in a fast-paced environment while maintaining consistency, cleanliness, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities - Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards - Set up and stock assigned stations with all necessary supplies - Ensure food is prepared in a timely and consistent manner during service - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations - Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times - Assist with inventory, prep work, and restocking as needed - Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and communicate effectively during service Qualifications - Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred - Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality - Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen best practices - Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs - Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays What We Offer - Competitive pay - Positive and team-oriented work environment - Opportunity for growth within the company - Training and skill development
