Job Description:
MedStar Health is seeking skilled Radiology Technologists to
join our dedicated team in providing top-tier diagnostic imaging
services across Maryland. In this role, you will utilize
cutting-edge radiologic technology to aid in diagnosis and
treatment, adhering to the highest standards of patient care. This
role is pivotal in our mission to achieve optimal health outcomes
for patients through the use of medical imaging to support medical
diagnosis and treatment plans. Perform diagnostic imaging
procedures according to department protocols, safety standards, and
doctor's orders. Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and
ensure their comfort and safety during the exams. Operate
radiographic equipment accurately and efficiently. Maintain
accurate patient records and adhere to confidentiality guidelines.
Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide
comprehensive patient care. Participate in quality control and
continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standard
of radiology services. Proficiency in operating radiologic
equipment Strong attention to detail Excellent verbal and written
communication skills Ability to maintain a high level of
professionalism and confidentiality Strong understanding of
radiologic safety and protection practices Life Insurance Certified
Radiologic Technologist (CRT) credential Valid registration with
the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Applicable
state licensure as a radiologic technologist
