to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Washington, Washington DC,
20010! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty:
Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour or Night
3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years
required, including high-risk experience License: Must possess a
valid local state nursing license prior to start date
Certifications: BLS, NRP, AWHONN Advanced, C-EFM required
Must-Have: High-risk Labor and Delivery experience Proof of pending
licensure status at the time of submission Description: Immediate
start required. This position involves providing care to patients
during labor and delivery, particularly in high-risk situations.
Candidates must be able to assess and triage obstetric patients
effectively. Experience in recognizing and treating abnormal fetal
heart rate patterns is essential. Proficiency in the administration
of medications such as magnesium sulfate and Pitocin is required.
Candidates should be skilled in performing sterile vaginal exams
and assisting with vaginal deliveries. A commitment to patient
safety, including the administration of blood products and
maintenance of central lines, is crucial. Collaboration with
interdisciplinary teams, including pharmacy support, is expected.
Flexibility regarding weekend shifts is required, with a minimum of
4 weekend shifts per contract. Onboarding includes completing
facility-specific training within a designated timeframe. This is
