Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our team of healthcare professionals in providing excellent recovery care. Utilizing comprehensive assessment techniques and individualized treatment plans, you will play a crucial role in the patient's journey toward regaining independence. Our facility focuses on a collaborative approach, ensuring that our treatments integrate seamlessly with overall patient care provided by our multidisciplinary team. Assess patient speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on patient-specific needs. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care. Educate patients and families about treatment strategies and home exercises. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care. Proficiency in diagnostic procedures and treatment plans for speech disorders. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work cooperatively in a multidisciplinary team. Strong organizational and time management skills.
