Job Description We’re Hiring: MRI Technologist (Direct Hire | Part-Time | Days) An established healthcare organization is seeking a Direct Hire MRI Technologist to join an outpatient imaging team. This is a part-time, day-shift opportunity offering competitive pay, excellent benefits, and long-term stability. Position Details Role: MRI Technologist Employment Type: Direct Hire Schedule: Day shift, variable days (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM) Hours: Approximately 37.5 hours/week Benefits: Full suite of benefits and retirement plan Key Responsibilities Perform routine and selected special MRI procedures Prepare and position patients for imaging exams Operate and maintain MRI equipment Assist radiologists as needed Ensure compliance with MRI safety standards Provide high-quality patient care and customer service Participate in quality assurance and continuing education Requirements Graduate of an accredited radiography school or hospital-based program ARRT certification required (ARMRIT accepted with ARRT MR certification within 1 year of hire) New York State license required BLS certification (AHA) required or within 90 days of hire MRI Safety Certification Level 2 (required annually) IV certification preferred (or within 6 months of orientation) Must meet continuing education requirements (24 ECE credits every 2 years) Flu vaccination required (no exemptions) Why Apply?
