Job Description Job Description Community Technician (Rockville) EVENING AND WEEKENDS SHIFTS AVAILABLE Maryland Treatment Centers Inc. is a growing regional behavioral health provider focused on clinical excellence, innovation, and scholarship. We are a thriving center for treatment of addictions and co-occurring disorders. We offer a full continuum of levels of care including inpatient, intensive outpatient, outpatient, outpatient mental health clinic. Maryland Treatment Centers, Inc. currently has openings available for part-time as needed Community Technicians who provide direct support and assistance to clients participating in our residential substance abuse treatment programs. Community Technician responsibilities include: Supervising clients and enforcing boundaries Leading psycho educational groups for the clients Performing rounds and room checks Performing breathalyzer tests and collecting specimens for drug screens Answering the phone, greeting and signing in guests Supervising medication self-administration Other duties as assigned by supervisor Must be able to work independently. Minimum Requirements: High School diploma/equivalent 1 year of experience in mental health/substance use treatment Bonus: Alcohol and Drug Trainee status Peer Support Specialist Certification Valid driver's license
