Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Location: Baltimore, MD Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,300 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified CVICU RN in Baltimore, Maryland, 21215! Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) Nurse – Maryland Start Date: February 2, 2026 Location: Baltimore, Maryland Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 40 hours orientation | Float to overflow units as needed Highlights: Primary focus on CVICU patient population with mixed ICU overflow responsibilities Manage post-cardiac surgery patients, including fresh admits directly from OR Work with advanced cardiac technologies including IABP, Impella, VADs, and ECMO protocols Cerner charting system in use Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and more Must have experience admitting and managing fresh cardiac patients Requirements: Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required, with at least 2 years as staff CVICU nurse Valid Maryland or Compact state RN license at time of submission Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and CALS 16-hour Maryland Approved Trauma Certification required by week 27 Experience with post-cardiac surgery care, dysrhythmia management, and cardiac drip titration Proficiency in managing advanced cardiac equipment including pulmonary artery lines, arterial lines, central lines, and cardiac assist devices Ability to float to all areas including Emergency Department as needed Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only) Why It's a Great Opportunity: This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic cardiovascular intensive care environment where you'll care for complex cardiac patients utilizing cutting-edge technology and evidence-based protocols.
