About The Position We are seeking a licensed Cardiology Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day locum tenens assignment at a Hospital in Oregon. Starting 06/30/2025, this role requires expertise in cardiology care, including loop records, rounding, and consults. The NP will initially work Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, with a potential transition to four 10-hour shifts as the provider becomes comfortable. Key responsibilities include managing cardiac patients, interpreting loop records, conducting rounds, and providing consultations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a hospital's cardiology department, with potential for assignment extension. Job Details: Location: Oregon Facility Type: Hospital Start Date: 06/30/2025 LOA: 120 days Provider Type Needed: Cardiology Nurse Practitioner Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (potential transition to four 10-hour shifts) Responsibilities and Duties: • Interpret and manage loop records for cardiac patients • Conduct daily rounds on cardiology patients • Provide cardiology consultations for other departments • Utilize Epic electronic health record system • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams • Assess and manage various cardiac conditions • Develop and adjust treatment plans based on patient needs • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals • Participate in patient education regarding cardiac health and management • Stay updated on latest developments in cardiology care • Adapt to the specific needs and workflows of the cardiology department • Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and best practices in cardiac care Additional Information: • Experience in hospital-based cardiology care is essential • Strong clinical decision-making skills in cardiac patient management • Excellent communication abilities for interdisciplinary collaboration • Flexibility to adapt to potential schedule changes • Ability to manage complex cardiac cases efficiently • Comfort with a fast-paced hospital environment • Procedures are not required for this position Apply now to learn more!
