Job Description GQR Healthcare-Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Bethesda, Maryland. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: MRI Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 32 hours per week - Shift: 16 hours, days, evenings - Employment Type: Travel Actual Hours: Saturday and Sunday 6am - 10:30pm MRI tech scanning, screening patients, flipping rooms, breast procedure experience a plus. - GE scanner experience - Reports to MRI Manager or Chief Imaging Technologist/Immediate Supervisor. - Performs Diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging of organs, organ systems and blood flow studies. - Provides radiologists with images necessary to obtain diagnostic results so that a comprehensive diagnostic report is available to referring physician. - Orients physicians, residents, staff and student technologist in objectives and applications of magnetic resonance imaging and safety. - Assists nursing staff in area e.g. witnesses nursing staff in wasting medication and documents in Pyxis. - Requires completion of an AMA approved program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, which normally is acquired in a two-year college or technical school program. - Prefer one year experience in an imaging modality. 2 years of recent MRI experience required completion of at least one travel assignment ARRT (R) (MRI) certified or ARMIT with current registration required.
