Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Yakima, WA 98902 Shift: 12-Hour Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a contract position on the Respiratory Care unit. The RT will deliver high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care in a fast-paced acute care environment. This role includes care for a diverse population, including neonatal and pediatric patients, and requires proficiency in both invasive and non-invasive therapies. Key Responsibilities: Deliver respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients. Administer general floor care and support critical interventions such as mechanical ventilation (Hamilton G5), high flow therapy, and airway management. Perform tracheostomy care, chest physiotherapy, and other population-based care procedures. Document patient interactions and treatment outcomes in EPIC EMR . Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Comply with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control guidelines.
