Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OB/GYN - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 07/07/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days, nights, rotating - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Registered Nurse - OB/GYN Location: Washington, DC 20037 Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day/Night Rotation (3 x 12-hour shifts Weekly Breakdown: Weekly Gross:$2,753.00Per Week On W2(Taxable):$828.00Per Week Stipend(Non-Taxable):$1,925.00Per Week Job Summary: we are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) specializing in Postpartum and Mother-Baby care for temporary contract positions. The RN will deliver safe, competent nursing care aligned with facility standards and demonstrate professional leadership in a collaborative healthcare setting. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct and individualized nursing care to postpartum and GYN surgery patients. Deliver care aligned with Patient Centered Care principles. Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform clinical interventions as needed. Document patient information accurately and timely. Educate patients and families regarding recovery and newborn care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care. Demonstrate consistent compliance with Service Excellence standards. Required Qualifications: License: Current RN license to practice in DC or eligible for reciprocity – Required Certifications: ACLS – Required NRP – Required BLS – Required Education: Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program – Required BSN – Highly desired Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Postpartum/Mother Baby RN experience – Required Additional Information: Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from the hospital.
