Job Description:

cFocus Software seeks a Project Manager to join our program supporting HUD. This position is fully remote. This position requires active Public Trust clearance.Qualifications:

• Masters or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or any related field.
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
• 5+ years of experience managing IT Modernization and Enhancement projects valued at $1 million or more per year, including developing project plans in Microsoft Project and following those project plans through to successful completion with minimal cost or schedule variance.
• 5+ years of experience in business process analysis/workflow improvement.
• 5+ years of experience working with systems with business intelligence reporting tool capabilities.
• 5+ years of experience working with waterfall/agile framework/methodology.
• 1+ year of experience working with financial systems.Duties:
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate project goals, objectives, and outcomes with stakeholders, including local governments, housing authorities, and community organizations.
  • Identify project milestones and establish deadlines for various stages of the project.
  • Ensure alignment with HUD program requirements and local housing needs.
  • Ensure that project activities are completed on schedule, within scope, and within the approved budget.
  • Coordinate activities between contractors, vendors, and other external parties involved in the project.
  • Resolve issues that arise during the implementation phase to keep the project on track.
  • Monitor adherence to environmental, health, and safety standards throughout the project.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HUD guidelines and ensure they are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage contracts with vendors, service providers, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Review and negotiate contracts to ensure terms are favorable for the project and comply with HUD regulations.
  • Monitor contract performance to ensure that vendors and contractors meet their obligations.
