has an opportunity available for an Integrated Product Team (IPT)
Lead-Staff Chief Engineer to join our team of qualified and diverse
individuals. This position is located in Baltimore, MD. What You’ll
Get To Do: This individual will lead a cross-discipline engineering
team typically greater than 10 people for a medium to high-risk
project and interface with Engineering & Program Management,
Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Mission Assurance. Roles &
Responsibilities: Lead and direct cross-functional engineering
teams during proposal, design, manufacturing, and delivery phases
of products in development and production phases Support proposal
development and new program acquisition efforts Interpret
statements of work assigned by program leadership Develop and
execute to project budgets and schedules, including Earned Value
Management System (EVMS), critical path management,
Estimates-at-Completion (EACs), and workload forecasts Interface
with functional departments to secure team staffing Work with
suppliers and be able to articulate project requirements Brief
internal and customer leadership on progress of work assigned
Perform in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations,
significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings.
The selected candidates are expected to be self-motivated, highly
organized, and detail oriented and possess effective verbal and
written communication skills. This role is contingent upon having a
current Active DoD Secret Clearance and the future ability to
achieve a SAP Clearance. Basic Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in
a STEM related field and a minimum of 12 years related experience
or a Masters Degree in a STEM related field and a minimum of 10
years related experience or a PhD Degree, and a minimum of 8 years
related experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be
considered in lieu of a degree. U.S. Citizenship Must have a
current/active Secret Clearance. Must be able to obtain special
program access. Secret clearance is required to start. Must be able
to maintain this level of clearance and special program access for
continued employment. 6 years’ experience as Integrated Product
Team (IPT) Lead, Technical lead, or other leadership role in a
program office or business function with demonstrated team
building, organizational, and interpersonal skills 6 years’
experience in the development of complex RF or Digital systems and
sub-systems Strong understanding of the Design, Manufacturing or
Test process 6 years’ experience with developing and executing
project schedules Preferred Qualifications: Active and current Top
Secret government clearance a plus PMP certification a plus
Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM) managing Earned Value
Management System (EVMS) projects Proven Experience in the IPT Lead
role. Experience in development of complex RF or Digital systems
and sub-systems Primary Level Salary Range: $169,000.00 -
$253,600.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline;
however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when
determining base salary offers such as the scope and
responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience,
education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the
position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift
differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as
well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in
Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of
benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability
insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off
(PTO) for vacation and/or personal business. The application period
