prosperity. THE WORK Lockheed Martin is seeking a talented Ground
SW Engineer with a Top Secret security clearance to work from
either our King of Prussia, PA or Littleton, CO location(s). We are
looking for software engineers to craft and build innovative
solutions for our customers. You will be part of an Agile team that
utilizes state of the art commercial standard methodologies such as
DevSecOps (automated testing, continuous integration, automated
deployment, etc.) and modern development tools. You will
participate in progressing system capabilities from early design
through site acceptance focused on software reuse, COTS/FOSS
integrations, and innovative, affordable best practices. As a
member of a hard-working team that are passionate about their
trade, focused on mission and system quality, and supportive of
timely delivery of features and capabilities. Be able to
demonstrate effective communication skills and a desire to have fun
with your work. As Ground Software Engineer you will: • Design,
implement, test, and maintain object-oriented ground system
software applications using Java, C#, C++, Angular, Python •
Support modernization efforts geared toward achieving greater
efficiency, security, automation and scalability • Collaborate with
an enthusiastic team of software, systems, and test engineers using
the Agile Development methodology This is an Emerging Professional

Qualifications Acceptable degree programs will include only science
and technology related programs such as: • Computer Science •
Systems Engineering • Electrical Engineering • Computer Engineering

Selected candidate will be required to possess an active Top Secret
clearance (and SCI eligible) for consideration. Desired skills •
Proficiency with one or more of the following software languages:
Java, C++, C#, Python, Apache Kafka, Apache Iceberg, Apache Spark,
Apache Fink, Amazon S3, Ceph, protobuf, avro, Cuda, OpenCL, XML,
Windows, .NET, and LINUX/UNIX • Experience in at least one of these
skill areas: System software and scripting development, Java
programming, web development, System analysis, System design,
Software Design, Software Development and Implementation, Software
Test • Candidate will have knowledge of basic software practices
such as coding standards, unit testing and configuration
management, database and System administration. Proficient with
Microsoft Office. Familiarity with Agile Development Process a

Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with
this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed
Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports
a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional
flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40
hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time
away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off
benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a
government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for
consideration. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this
position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most
major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland,
Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is
$62,700 - $110,630. For states not referenced above, the salary
range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work
location. Please note that the salary information is a general
guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not
limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's
work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market
and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits
