Job Description:
New Journey, a Genesis10 company, is seeking a Control System
Lead/ Automation Engineer resource for a full time position with
our client. Compensation: $46.17 per hour $2 per hour night shift
differential if on night shift. As a Control System Lead/
Automation Engineer, you will lead service technicians on the team
while maintaining, troubleshooting, and modifying Material Handling
(MHE) control systems equipment to ensure operational performance.
Promote a safe working environment by following all safety
procedures Maintain and troubleshoot all VFDs, Motors/Wiring
configurations, PLCs, Computers, Electrical Schematics, Control
Circuits, and Preventive / Predictive maintenance Perform PLC
Control level issue diagnosis and maintenance (Allen Bradley)
Utilize SCADA systems and KPI's to maintain efficiency Install,
maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control
components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity
sensors, solenoids, etc. Collaborate and build relationships with
all levels in the organization Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in
computer science, electrical engineering, automation engineering,
or equivalent OR 2 years of equivalent professional experience.
Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends,
nights, and/or holidays 2 years of experience with robotics work
cells and its control systems 3 years of experience with Ladder
Logic and structure programming from Siemens, Allen-Brady, or
Codesys PLCs 3 years of experience with PLC-controlled automation
and issue diagnosis in a continuous process or production
environment. Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English
Ability to interpret and understand policies and procedures and
relate them to others. Experience with a Computerized Maintenance
Management System (CMMS) Experience working with multiple
stakeholders (Operations, Safety, etc.) to coordinate complex
maintenance activities 2 years of experience identifying,
maintaining, troubleshooting, programming, and designing HMI and
control network components 2 years of experience identifying,
maintaining, troubleshooting, and modifying Motor Controls
including motor starters, Variable Frequency Drives, DC drives, and
standard electrical components 2 years of experience of industrial
electrical hands-on experience and troubleshooting, including 480V
3-phase, 110 VAC, and 24VDC systems 2 years of experience
interpreting, modifying, and developing mechanical and electrical
drawings 2 years of experience identifying, maintaining, and
utilizing SCADA systems and KPIs 2 years of experience with
programming software such as RSLogix5000 studio, FT View, and other
controls software platforms 2 years of experience supporting a wide
range of different conveyors and sortation systems. If you have the
