Job Description Job Description Degree in Physical Therapy,
active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. Provide specialized physical
therapy services for students across multiple campuses within a
school district in Arlington, TX. This contract position offers an
opportunity to support K-12 students with diverse needs, delivering
both direct and consultative services in a collaborative
educational environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver physical
therapy services to a caseload of 8 students through direct
intervention. Provide consultative support to 4 additional students
to enhance their educational performance. Address the needs of
students with intellectual disabilities (ID) and other health
impairments (OHI). Collaborate with educators and therapists across
9 district-wide campuses. Maintain accurate documentation and
progress monitoring as per district guidelines. Participate in team
meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP)
planning. Qualifications and Experience: Valid Physical Therapy
licensure with experience in school-based settings preferred.
Knowledge of pediatric physical therapy techniques and school
protocols. Ability to work with students exhibiting intellectual
disabilities and health impairments. Excellent communication skills
to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Strong
organizational skills to manage a caseload and provide consultative
services. Details: Location: Arlington, TX (district-wide across 9
campuses) Contract position Required commitment: 6 hours per week,
spread across the school week Age group served: Kindergarten
