Company: Palmerton Telephone 3-day Flex WFH Shifts: Must be willing and able to work the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift Rotation Schedule (includes weekends and holidays) A friendly and reliable Telephone Operator is needed to work a rotating switchboard schedule at the Palmerton Telephone Company. Primary responsibilities include: Answering phones and properly routing calls Monitoring Alarms and Medical Alerts Providing answering Services for Doctors’ offices and others Other duties as assigned Qualifications: H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. Established residency in Pennsylvania Computer Proficiency Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs preferred – Outlook, Word and Excel Familiarity with the local area helpful Excellent Communications Skills - Pleasant Speaking Voice Neat penmanship Dependability / Reliability Ability to multitask Ability to be detail oriented Ability to work in a team environment Ability to handle phone calls in a calm and professional manner in all circumstances Ability to work a very flexible schedule in order to accommodate Swing Shift (1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift schedule rotation) to include weekends and holidays as required INDHP
