In this role, you will perform general maintenance and repairs to ensure that school buildings and facilities remain in excellent condition. Responsibilities Help with small repairs such as fixing doors, changing light bulbs, or patching walls Support janitorial staff when needed (moving furniture, taking out trash, etc.) Assist with setting up rooms for school events and activities Perform basic outdoor work such as sweeping walkways, picking up litter, or light snow removal Report larger maintenance problems to the supervisor Keep tools and supplies organized Follow all school safety rules and procedures Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. 1 years of experience in general maintenance or building trades (e.g., carpentry, plumbing). Valid driver’s license. Strong problem-solving skills, able to work independently or as part of a team. Flexible, friendly, with good communication and time management skills. Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds, work from ladders, and perform tasks requiring bending, reaching, and crawling. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and walk long distances across campus. Requires stooping, kneeling, crawling, bending, turning, and reaching Requires climbing and balancing Must work in and around dust, fumes, and odors. Must provide a criminal background check.
