Job Description Job Description Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician – Alexandria, VA Are you an experienced maintenance professional looking for a great opportunity? Join our team as a Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician ! This contract-to-hire role offers competitive pay and the chance to work with a dynamic property management team. Job Responsibilities: Run work orders and troubleshoot maintenance issues Complete make-ready turns for vacant units Perform repairs on appliances, plumbing, and electrical systems Assist with preventative maintenance and ensure safety compliance Maintain property standards and respond to resident requests Schedule & Pay: $21–$23/hr (based on experience) Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM Contract-to-Hire position Location: Alexandria, VA Qualifications: EPA Type II or Universal Certification required Must have own tools Ability to run work orders independently and troubleshoot issues Previous apartment maintenance experience required Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems Benefits Through BGSF: Weekly pay Health, dental, and vision insurance options PTO or sick leave (as applicable per state/local law) Referral bonuses ZIPW BGSF is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
