The successful candidate will oversee and manage the accounting team, ensuring that all financial reporting is accurate and timely. This is a pivotal role within our organization, with the opportunity to shape and drive our financial strategy. The ideal candidate has a strong background in the engineering industry, with a particular focus on manufacturing or construction. Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the entire accounting team. Develop, implement, and monitor internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Provide insight into operational cost and profitability. Analyze operational costs, overhead allocations, and pricing strategies. Collaborate with senior management to formulate the company's future direction and support tactical initiatives. Report financial performance to the board of directors and stakeholders. Coordinate and strategize the capital structure and budgeting processes. Develop performance measures and monitoring systems that support the company's strategic direction. Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification is a plus. 7 years of accounting experience, Manufacturing or construction experience is preferred. Proven experience in developing and implementing internal control policies and procedures. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze operational costs, overhead allocations, and pricing strategies. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
