Staff Accountant - Baltimore, MD About the Company and Opportunity: CFS is partnering with a medium sized organization currently hiring a temporary Staff Accountant in their Baltimore office! Position is hybrid (3-4 days remote) and the schedule is Monday - Friday 8am-5pm. Laptop is provided! Pay is $25 -29/hr - a great place to network, learn new software, and keep your skills alive! Overview of the Staff Accountant role: Full Cycle AP and AR Assist with Payroll Post journal entries to general ledger. General ledger accounting through month-end close. Perform bank reconciliations. Perform various account reconciliations. Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts. Develop and document internal processes and workflow. Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities. Assist with the preparation balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position. Qualifications for the Staff Accountant: Bachelor's degree in Accounting a plus but not required 3-5 years' accounting experience Non-profit experience is a plus Proficient in Excel Excellent written and verbal communication skills
